This year's cold and windy St. Patrick's day parade felt more like our annual Santa Claus float day because Montreal streets and roads were still snow and slush covered. there were still plenty if icy patches of road so we had to mind our steps. The trip downtown was so worth it because we got to visit our friendly Crescent street pubs and shops where we sampled a frothy Irish coffee and green iced muffin at a local coffee shop. Tourists and locals filled the downtown core with happy smiles on every corner. Of course, hockey fans came along for the ride. Everyone is Irish on March 17! Here's hoisting a Guinness just for you.
