Description
Winter came early this year and local Montreal neighborhoods are hurrying to set up their outdoor rinks. From Southwest Montreal, Verdun to the Pointe, to Montreal's Plateau, to west end NDG and Rosemont, La Petite Patrie, youngsters ask mom and dad to buy them shiny new skates and their favorite hockey team sweaters.
Six boys are playing in a local rink and each has on a different NHL team jersey. The Calgary Flames goalie is defending his post against an Oilers and a Boston Bruin. The Habs goalie, a Leaf and an Ottawa senator are in the background getting ready to play.
