In the early 1980's while walking the Plateau streets, i happened to turn a corner and discovered this delicious Greek bakery, the fresh daily Peloponissos Pizza and baked goods shop. The vintage architecture, dormer windows and colorful neighboring homes captured my imagination. I took many reference photos which helped me create my 1990 24x 30 classic Peloponissos painting.
Recently, I re-visited the area and created a brand new vision, my Peloponissos painting , re-imagined; the busy and colorful neighborhood in full-bloom.
