This great Mom and Pop store stacked everything we could possibly want, such as cans of sardines, Crisco and Jello. Everybody used these great little shops back in the 50's,60's and 70's to purchase items like penny candy, nickel chocolate bars and the big bars like O'Henry, Almond Joy and Cadbury's pure milk chocolate. There were few cars back in the 50's so setting up a hockey net in the street was fairly safe so kids were able to play outdoors.
