Description
I taught grade eleven High School Art and Emile Borduas and his love of black, white and grey shapes, really intrigued my students. He was a master of clean hard sharp edges creating a genre between Victor Vasarely, Alfred Pellan. It was the time of Op Art, Pop Art and Abstract Expressionisn. New York city, flashing lights, broadway boogie- woogie, and jazz music were all influencers in Borduas vision. This is my version, my vision and my personal homage to Emile Borduas.
