Ah, the Monkland Grille, now here's a famous delicious landmark restaurant that tenaciously kept its original street name after moving locales to another street! Truly a popular restaurant in the NDG Monkland Village area, hungry brunchers, lunch and dinner diners keep this place hopping at all hours. I recall a fabulous spinach and cheese omelette, homemade fries and wonderful dessert on my very first foray to the Grille. Through the years this great reliable resto was one of our go-to places whenever the tummy growled....feed me!

When my favorite lamb chop resto Bonora closed, which was situated right next to my Art studio, my sadness was quickly assuaged when we learned that the new resto moving in was none other than the great Monkland Grille.
