Barney Greengrass,known as the Stugeon King is a restaurant deli located at 514 Amsterdam Avenue in Upper West Side of Manhattan in New york City. The store has been in business since 1908 and has been serving smoked fish, lox and bagels,cheese blintzes, meat sandwiches, omelettes, soup and salads.This painting was fun to paint and I really loved rhe green woodwork framing the store windows, the red brick and the bright white sign, I find that the complementary colors in this painting make the scene interesting and inviting. I had to add the green leafed tree to indicate a beautiful summer day.
