Description
Nestled along the tree-lined quiet corner of Duluth and St. Urbain in Montreal, you'll find this delicious dining spot, the very popular Cafe Santropol. Along with some of the best unforgettable food in the world, Montreal also serves up some of the best architecture. Original brick work , dormer windows eye-catching wood porches and balconies and wrought-iron winding staircases have become this painter's delight. There is so much to see here, don't skip the important details! We have the bike path with the colorfully clad cyclist walking his bike to the traffic stop, while the lady in pink awaits her green crossing light. Look farther down the street and you will catch a glimpse of our mountain, Mount Royal, a real mountain right in the center of town.
I painted this very detailed local urban landscape, a charming Canadian city scene, and favorite Montreal restaurant scene, Cafe Santropol on a 6X8 canvas panel. I worked stroke by stroke, capturing each important detail with fine brushwork and true-to-life rich color. My heart and passion for this city expresses itself on canvas. I hope you like it. We ship anywhere across Canada and the USA.
